Collegium of the House

The Collegium of the House of Representatives (hereinafter: the Collegium) is established in the House of Representatives consisting of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Deputy Speakers of the House of Representatives, Secretary of the House of Representatives, and the Chairs of the MP Caucuses in the House of Representatives. 

With the aim of the harmonization of the work of the House of Representatives the Collegium shall: 

• Co-ordinate activities in the preparation of the sessions of the House of Representatives and determination of the agendas for these sessions;
• Launch initiatives to discuss certain issues at the committees of the House of Representatives; 
• Ensure that the rights and duties of the Members of the House related to the discharge of their office are exercised; 
• Ensure the co-operation with the House of Peoples; 
• Ensure that the rights and duties of the House of Representatives are exercised towards the President of the Federation and Deputy Presidents of the Federation, and Prime Minister and the Government of the Federation, in line with the Constitution of the Federation; 
• Ensure that the co-operation with political organizations and citizen associations is established; 
• Ensure that the inter-parliamentary cooperation is exercised; and 
• Discuss initiatives and proposals submitted to the House of Representatives.
